Joy and hatred

This was an assignment I had for my art class. I had to create a creative representation of the color wheel, so this is what I can up with. I'm pretty new to actually painting things other than simple backgrounds so and advice or whatever would be greatly appreciated :3
Done using some cheap gouache paint

 do not steal or I will stab you with a carrot and slit your throat with a bendy straw
